Panda Premium Lookbook Theme Guide

Hey everyone! We recently added our new Lookbook theme to our Panda Catalog app.
The new theme not only offers a full HD design, but also has many new customization options such as editing the front & back cover of the catalog, adding an index page, adding an about page, adding a cover page for each collection, changing fonts & colors and much more.
The following guide will help you in setting up a new catalog with the Lookbook theme. Let’s get started!
In this guide:
1. Upgrading to a Premium Plan
To upgrade to a premium plan, simply enter Panda Catalog on your Apps page in your admin panel, and click on Upgrade and then select the plan you’d like to upgrade to.
2. Changing Fonts and Colors
In order to begin customizing your catalog, click on Themes.
Afterwards, you’ll be redirected to this page, where you’ll click on Customize to begin customization for your Lookbook theme:
You’ll be redirected to the page below, which is the page you’ll use for customizing your catalog.
Click on General to change the colors and fonts.
Once you click on General, you’ll see these options:
Here you will be able to change the colors and fonts of the headings/titles and text in your catalog.
You can also choose here if your catalog should be indexed by collections, vendors or types.
3. Adding a Logo
Firstly, in order to add a logo, click on Cover Page.
You’ll be redirected here, where you can simply click on Upload logo to upload a logo.
Your cover page is going to be the first page that you will see when you open the catalog, so it’s important to make sure it’s amazing.
In the Cover page section, you can first add a title and a subtitle (a smaller caption beneath the title), which will look like this in your catalog:
You also add a picture by clicking on Upload Image.
If you want your picture to fill up the entire cover page, without any words, you can check Replace with a static image.
The index will be a table of contents that will redirect viewers to specific parts of the catalog.
To begin editing the index, click on Index Page. Once you click that, you’ll be redirected to this:
As you can see, you can choose to hide the index page, by clicking, Hide index page.
Also, you can change the name of the index page title, by entering your desired title in Index page title.
In the Display as section, you can select how the index page will show up.
– If you select grid, your index will appear as thumbnails.
– Otherwise, if you select list, your index will appear as a list like a table of contents in a book.
You have the option to add an about page to your catalog.
In order to edit the options for this page click on About Page, and you’ll see these options:
In order to have an about page, check Show about page.
If you check this option, you can also choose on which page the about page will show, by changing the option in Select a page.
You have the option to have an additional cover for every collection that you have in the panda catalog.
The collection cover will allow you to show the collection’s featured image and description to introduce the upcoming collection.
To edit the collection cover page options, click on Collection Page.
If you don’t want a collection page, click on Hide cover page for collection.
Otherwise, click on Show cover page for each collection.
Choose here also if you would like to show the description for your collections in this page and the featured image.
To edit how your product is displayed, click on Collection Page (shown above).
You can choose how many rows (of 4 items each) will appear on each page.
You can also choose if to add or remove additional information, like price markdowns, prices, and other options, such as barcode, simply by checking those options to select them.
The footer will appear at the bottom of every page of your collection, and you can edit it by clicking footer.
As you see, you can choose to show your store name and your website (as a marketing tool!) in the footer, simply by selecting yes or no for every option.
The back cover is the last page of your catalog , where you can add your contact information and links to your social accounts, therefore it’s important to use it as a marketing tool.
In order to edit the back cover, click on Back Cover.
You will be able to add here a title for your back cover, a logo, and a background image.
In addition, you can edit/add here your contact information including your website, phone number, and store address.
Below, you can also add links to social media accounts:
After you finish making changes, click on Save:
In order to see the changes you made you will need to create a new catalog, to do so click on the New Catalog tab at the top right-hand corner:
You’ll be redirected to the page below, where you will be able to choose which collections/types/vendors will show in your new catalog, add the catalog name and set different prices.
Start out by choosing a name for your new catalog:
If for instance you want to create a wholesale catalog with different prices, or remove the links to your store, you can do that here:
Next, choose the collections/types/vendors you want to include in the catalog, or all of them to include your full store inventory:
Once you’re done, click on Create;
Great! Once you’ve done that we will start processing your catalog and it should be ready within 15 minutes. Once the catalog is ready you will be able to see it under your dashboard.
